Developed out of a need for high standards of recruitment management education by the IPRC in conjunction with APRC United Kingdom.

Learn the principles of running a desk and team together with successful branch development.
The Diploma in Recruitment Management is a recognized qualification designed for those who wish to move into recruitment management or are currently in that role but have received no formal recruitment management training.

A) All predominately knowledge based programs will be done through seminars, workshops and conferences conducted by the institute’s faculty or through a training partner.

Q What is special about an IPRC program ?
A) An IPRC program

Is short term
Nearly all of the programs last for 8-95 days for instructor led programs or 300-360 hrs of net based learning for non university graduates. This does not of course include time for assignments or exams

Is function based
They focus on job related functions performed by working professionals and intending consultants as part of their job.

Updates
Focuses on updating of existing skills and knowledge base of adult learners. A typical program does not focus on basic skills.

Focuses on adult learning
The programs are tailored to working professionals, students and adult learners. They focus on updating participants with the best of breed practices in that specific area of recruitment.

Q What are the different Categories of IPRC certification?

A) Programs in IPRC can be done through four categories

1. MBA/MSC Conversion Seminar
MBA/MSC graduates in management or the social sciences desirous of pursuing a career in professional recruitment consultancy will take one month seminar on Strategic Issues in Recruitment, Requirement Analysis and Resourcing Skills in Recruitment, Body Language & Profiling Skills, Mock Interviews and Competency Based Interviewing, Evaluation and Selection etc.

Successful ones will become Associates of the institute APRC, qualifying as recruitment consultants, directors of recruitment, recruitment managers, human capital development officers, recruitment analysts, general managers, human resource managers, employment interviewers, recruitment specialist, training managers, entrepreneurs, placement specialists, sales managers, personnel recruiters or education administrators etc.

2. B.SC/HND Conversion Seminar
B.Sc and HND graduates in management or the social sciences, law, economics, business, accounting, marketing, engineering, medicine etc who have finished their National Youth Services Programmes desirous of pursuing a career in professional recruitment consultancy and human capital development will undergo three months seminars and workshops on Proposal and Report Writing Skills, Requirement Analysis and Resourcing Skills in Recruitment, Body Language & Profiling Skills, Mock Interviews and Competency Based Interviewing, Evaluation and Selection etc.

Successful ones will become Associates of the institute APRC, qualifying as recruitment consultants, directors of recruitment, recruitment managers, human capital development officers, recruitment analysts, human resource managers, entrepreneurs, employment interviewers, general managers, recruitment specialist, training managers, placement specialists, sales managers, personnel recruiters or education administrators etc.

3. OND/NCE Holders/3rd Year Undergraduate Students in Management/Social Sciences
Holders of Ordinary National Diploma OND or National Certificate of Education NCE and third year management or social science students in Nigerian Universities or Polytechnics desirous of pursuing a career in professional recruitment consultancy and human capital development on graduation will attend IPRC Nigeria seminars and conferences on Client Presentation Skills, Recruitment Sales, Proposal and Report Writing Skills, Requirement Analysis and Resourcing Skills in Recruitment, Mock Interviews and Competency Based Interviewing, Evaluation and Selection etc.

Successful ones will become Associates of the institute APRC, qualifying as recruitment consultants, directors of recruitment, recruitment managers, human capital development officers, recruitment analysts, human resource managers, employment interviewers, recruitment specialist, training managers, entrepreneurs, general managers, placement specialists, sales managers, personnel recruiters or education administrators etc.

4. School Certificate Holders/Mature Students Seminar
Holders of nationally recognized examination bodies such as SSCE, NECO, NABTEB etc. with 5’O level passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings or matured candidates who must be up to 25 years of age and currently engaged in relevant employment, but do not posses adequate academic qualification desirous of pursuing a career in professional recruitment consultancy will be made to take IPRC Nigeria seminars and workshops in Recruitment Selling and Negotiating Skills, Team Building, Advanced Planning & Prospecting Skills, Client Presentation Skills, Proposal and Report Writing Skills, Requirement Analysis and Resourcing Skills in Recruitment, Competency Based Interviewing, Evaluation and Selection.

Successful ones will become Associates of the institute APRC, qualifying as recruitment consultants, directors of recruitment, recruitment managers, human capital development officers, recruitment analysts, human resource managers, employment interviewers, recruitment specialist, training managers, placement specialists, entrepreneurs, sales managers, general managers, personnel recruiters or education administrators etc.

Q Who do you mean by IPRC code of conduct?.

The backbone of the IPRC is the Code of Professional Conduct which aims to promote, develop and encourage integrity and recruitment best practice.

Q Is IPRC approved or accredited?

The Institute of Professional Recruitment Consultants, IPRC Nigeria was approved by the National Universities Commission NUC, authorized by the Attorney General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice, approved by the Federal Ministry of Education and certified by the Corporate Affairs Commission CAC as a professional organization limited by guarantee.

Q How is quality maintained?
A) IPRC is involved in both direct validation and franchising arrangements. The intellectual property for a course resides - with IPRC. Also, IPRC Nigeria is an affiliate of the Association of Professional Recruitment Consultants, APRC UK

IPRC validates courses taught at other centres by the its faculty team who are mostly United States of America trained and certified Recruitment Analyst and United Kingdom certified recruiters.
