The Institute’s membership is divided into six (6) categories, as follows:
1. Fellow FPRC
2. Full Member MPRC
3. Associate Member APRC
4. Corporate Member MPRC Corporate
5. Graduate/Mature Member Grad. IPRC
6. Student Membership Student IPRC
Reserved mainly for founding members and few prominent individuals in the society who believe that recruitment is the first major step in the process of acquiring and retaining human capital in any organization. Also available to consultants/directors who have been a member of the IPRC for three years or have been in the recruitment market for 10years and above.
Fellowship of the Institute is the highest in the hierarchy of professional recognition, and the holder is entitled to use the designation FPRC after his/her name.
Available to consultants and managers with more than 5years experience in recruitment and human capital development. The full membership of the Institute is also allowed for all graduates of management with higher qualifications (MSC/MBA) and who have been in the recruitment and executive selection market for up to 5years.
Non-graduates in relevant disciplines with accumulated experience(s) and who have served and are still serving in managerial/directorship capacity are also eligible for the award of the Institutes Full Membership having met other necessary requirement. Full Membership certificate holders are entitled to use the designatory letters MPRC after their names.
All graduates in relevant disciplines who have genuinely acquired reasonable level of practical experience(s) and who have been in active practice for a period of not less than 5 years are eligible to apply for the Associate Membership of the Institute.
The associate membership of the Institute is also to all fresh MBA/MSC graduates of accounting, management, law, economics and marketing or other Professional qualifications after taking the institute professional examination 1 &2.
Non-graduates in relevant fields with impressive track-records and sound on-the job practical experience(s) who have served and are still serving in deputizing or supervisory capacity are also eligible for the award of the Associate Membership of the Institute having met other necessary requirement, for capacity enhancement.
The Institute’s Associate Membership examinations are conducted at the end of training programme. Fresh first degree graduates who want to make a career in recruitment will undergo the three months mandatory conversion programmes will be admitted as associates after taking the institute’s intermediate and professional examination 1 and 2.
No Associate member will be conferred with full membership of the Institute until success is recorded after the training examination conducted for that purpose. Award of this category of membership entitles the holder to use the designatory letters APRC after his/her name.
To qualify for Associate Membership, the holder of a graduate Membership is mandatorily required to sit for the Intermediate examinations and the institute Professional Examination I and II. Holders or awardees are entitled to use the abbreviation Grad. IPRC after their names.
Candidates in this category will be required to sit for and pass the
institutes examinations from foundation Level A through to professional
Level 2 to qualify for membership of the institute.
